In ‘Playhouse cards’, the regular card suits have been transformed into architectural details borrowed from the anthropometric designs found in the Architect’s Data handbook by Ernst Neufert. Reflecting upon their architectural background and references, Nike Dimopoulou and Nikolas Arnis of Studio Entice designed this card deck so that each suit would correspond to one of the ‘typical’ spaces in a residence. While the kitchen, bathroom, living-room and bedroom are laid down on the deck, the Ace of Spades functions as a ‘death card’ implying murder taking place in this imaginary house setting.
