Constantinos Hoursoglou was born in 1972. He studied Industrial Design in the UK and received his Masters from the Royal College of Art. Upon his graduation from the RCA he worked for Minalle Tatersfield in London then in New York for Ayse Birsel and then Karim Rashid as Design Director. In September 2002 he founded his own design studio (chd industrial & product design) in Geneva where he leaves and works. In October 2013 he co-founded shibui (www.shibui.ch) with Athanasios Babalis. He has taught at the Product and Systems Design Department of the University of Aegean from September 2002 to July 2006 and IPAC Design Geneve since 2015, where he is Director of the BA Product Design programme. He has received a series of awards among which a Red Dot in 2011 and twice the Walker of Tomorrow award by Johnnie Walker.
