In July 2016 renowned scholars and practitioners from the fields of Architecture, Geography, Urban Design, and Environmental Studies, will meet in Athens as part of Autonoma – an International Conference on Urban Autonomy and the Collective City – in an effort to identify Urban Autonomy as a distinct area of research and explore the potential of collective city structures to address current and future socio-spatial challenges.
