LArchitects designs holiday villas that step into the landscape of Kefalonia

Overlooking the Ionian Sea in Lassi, Kefalonia, The Wildt is a collection of four holiday residences by LArchitects that draws its character from the island’s landscape. Clean-lined volumes, natural materials and generous outdoor spaces come together to create homes that feel open to the sea and deeply connected to their surroundings. The villas are arranged as simple cubic forms that follow the site’s natural contours, allowing the architecture to settle comfortably into the terrain. Expansive openings capture panoramic views while filling the interiors with daylight, dissolving the boundary between indoor and outdoor living. Natural stone anchors the buildings to the landscape, while timber pergolas introduce warmth and define shaded terraces overlooking the water. Infinity pools extend towards the horizon, accompanied by built-in seating and understated outdoor spaces designed for long summer days spent outside. Inside, polished concrete, natural timber and linen create a tactile material palette softened by warm earthy tones. The interiors are intentionally pared back, allowing natural light, texture and the changing colors of the sea to become part of the everyday experience. With this project, LArchitects present a contemporary interpretation of Mediterranean living, one that favors simplicity, carefully considered materials and a strong connection to place. The result is a series of holiday homes that feel both timeless and rooted in the landscape of Kefalonia.
