ETSI Architects unveil Paratiritirio in Mani blending history, cultural influences and modern comfort

Nestled in the picturesque Mani Peninsula, Greece, Paratiritirio harmoniously merges with the natural landscape, creating a comfortable living space amidst the rugged terrain. Paratiritirio serves as a bridge between old and new, preserving history while embracing modern living. More than just a residence, the house is a reflection of family ties and cultural pride spanning generations. Inspired by their love for Greece, a multi-cultural family needed a sanctuary where they could reconnect. ETSI Architects carefully revitalized two ancient buildings on the edge of a gorge, blending old and new with local materials and architectural finesse. Thai influences seamlessly merge with the rugged charm of Mani, seen in details like waxed concrete floors, reclaimed walnut bed backs, and handcrafted Moroccan zelige tiles, each telling a story. A highlight is the Sterna pool, a modern oasis set within the original water reservoir, offering tranquility amidst the rugged landscape. And with its vibrant India Yellow façade, Paratiritirio stands proudly as a symbol of history and modernity, marking its place in the village of Isna.
