Ghost Designers unveil sophisticated, multi-functional apartment space in Holargos

Ghost Designers have transformed the top floor of a small apartment building in Holargos into an expansive, open-plan living space. The apartment originally consisted only of columns, beams, and a ceiling slab. The design leverages the apartment’s orientation and the owners’ preference for openness, combining living, kitchen, dining, and working areas in one continuous space. A standout feature is the bedroom, which can be visually connected or separated by sliding glass doors, allowing southwestern light to fill the space. A forest green volume discreetly houses the bathroom and forms the kitchen’s exterior, serving as a striking focal point. The designers left the original columns and beams uncoated, emphasizing an industrial aesthetic with cement coatings, large concrete-look floor tiles, and black metal elements. Oak surfaces in custom structures add warmth, aligning with the mid-century and eclectic furniture styles. The result is a sophisticated, multifunctional living area that blends industrial and mid-century design elements.
