This series of sketches tells the stories of places, indoor and outdoor spaces, journeys and everyday life, in a world full of details, textures and patterns. Absorbing a place, Chloe Finn likes to draw what she sees; a keen observer of the world around her, she creates records of time and place where the protagonists are usually the objects and not the people living around them. “Drawing on-location is to some extend like the slow motion effect. You might be sketching on the busiest noisiest road, but concentrating on details, slows down your body and your mind. Meeting the Here and the Now.”
