Photographer Sofia Gaafar and journalist Efi Alevizou combine their visual and intellectual approaches in examining theย traces of reality. The result is a series of images and texts built around the axis of time, the ephemeral approach of ideas, the fundamental alertness of “what the hell is going on” and “what’s going is fun after all”. Hadย the pictures of the Teaser project been taken a minute earlier, they would be different, and if the texts/captions had been written later they would be referring to different images.
The Teaser Project cherishes the moment through the observation of the sweet absurdness of impermanence. It’s a three-day exhibition that affirmsย the relevanceย of “forever”ย –ย in essence constituting yet another reason to celebrate and communicate.
