Agios Nikolaos is a small town with an impressive and fascinating history. It occupies the site of the ancient city of “Lato pros Kamara” which was the port of the city “Lato pros Etera”. Nowadays, the same name is used to describe the entire province.
Agios Nikolaos was the first area of Crete to experience tourism development years before the western part of the island. Elounda is one of the most famous tourist destinations worldwide, attracting thousands of visitors every year. The island of Spinalonga, one of Greece’s most known historical places is located in the area of Agios Nikolaos.
Agios Nikolaos municipality invited AG to help evolve the place as a brand and reflect their continued touristic transformation. To mark their new era of growth, AG designed & developed a new website for Agios Nikolaos municipality in Crete, with plenty of great content, experiences and beautiful destinations to explore.
AG’s aim was to deliver a functional tool that will turn the place intro a desirable global destination, attracting visitors from all over the world.
