Located in a striking blue neoclassical building in the heart of Athens, Casa LโON blends history with contemporary design. Marilena Kondou acquired the 130-square-meter apartment, originally a storage space, and oversaw a full renovation, collaborating with an architect friend to craft a new layout. Preserving the original columns and incorporating antique pieces from her family and carefully sourced shops, Kondou created a space that honors the buildingโs past while reflecting her personal style. Although originally intended as her home, Kondou decided to keep it for future use, filling it with timeless materials, emotion, and a perfect harmony of old and new.
