Terracotta tiles wrap Wild Souls eatery by Studiomateriality in Kolonaki

Exterior view of the Wild Souls eatery in Kolonaki, Athens, designed by Studiomateriality.

Wild Souls in Kolonaki is the latest space designed by Studiomateriality for the clean-eating brand, continuing an ongoing collaboration shaped by shared values around food, materiality and everyday ritual. Set on a prominent street corner in Athens, the project engages directly with the pace of the city. The façade is fully wrapped in terracotta tiles, giving the store a clear, tactile identity that feels warm, grounded and immediately recognisable within its urban surroundings. Inside, the space is organised around a simple square plan. A large tiled communal table sits at the centre, designed to host up to ten people and encourage shared meals and casual gathering. The upper floor introduces a quieter atmosphere. Seating is immersed in greenery, creating a nature-driven retreat above the street — a pause defined by light, planting and stillness. Terracotta surfaces, earthy textures and greenery form a consistent material language throughout. The architecture is intentionally restrained, allowing the space to support the Wild Souls experience without excess. As the newest addition to the brand’s growing network, the Kolonaki location reinforces Wild Souls as a place not only to eat, but to meet and slow down in the heart of Athens.
