Urban Font by Design Devision

Urban is an uppercase typeface inspired by the urban architectural environment of London and the variety of iconic concrete and sculptural buildings that expand across the city’s skyline. The font uses strict lines and clear curves that create balanced geometrical shapes, adopting an architectural simplicity and functionality. Every letter has been built on a rectangular grid using the border and center points of its plane in different compositions. They are thus articulated in space using a system of balanced proportions, similar to the mathematic ones used in architecture.
