Stones and Walls designed the interior for Mythos Kouzina & Grill, which brings authentic Greek food to Dubai. The simple, yet appetizing menu is a compilation of traditional Greek recipes and dishes served in tavernas, prepared by Chef llias Kokoroskos. As the Chef says, “it’s a place that feels like home to me, and we want our guests to feel like members of our family”. A taverna has long been a staple of Greek culture, serving as a central gathering place for those wanting to dine comfortably and inexpensively. The décor echoes the details of a modern taverna – a classy upgrade to the traditional charm, without losing its fun spirit, warmth and vibrancy – while being reinvented for today. Mythos offers an authentic Greek convivial experience. Guests will feel as if they have been transported to someone’s home in an island in Greece, entering via flowing arches, stone walls made in the traditional Cyclades islands way, powdered stone finishings from the North of Greece and walking on handmade tiles from Crete surrounded by rush-seat taverna stools and chairs, Cylcadic sofas, large rustic marble top tables with funked-up urban designs and a pop of color here and there, without however losing the element of Greek-ness.
