Sun Rocks Luxury suites is a boutique hotel, located in Firostefani, Santorini island. Overlooking the Caldera, the hotel is extended in 4 levels and it consists of 18 elegant suites designed for unique moments.
The concept of the project was to create a “design eruption”, a totally different style that prevails in the island of Santorini. Avoiding elements and colors that characterize the Cycladic architecture, interior architect Achilleas Kritikos designed contemporary design suites with minimal and luxury approach, aiming to upgrade the traveller’s experience. The suites’ sizes range from 30 to 65 sqm and guests are invited to begin their -one of a kind- journey and choose between the Superior Deluxe, the Luxury Suite, The Experience Suite, The Honeymoon Suite with Jacuzzi or the Sun Rocks Suite with the private pool and veranda. Common element of all are the king-size beds, the luxury fabrics and amenities, and the amazing sea views.
The furniture were custom-designed by the architect, who was inspired by the Italian elegance and beauty. Clean lines, bold cuts in the furniture and the color palette of natural and earthy hues, create an elegant and relaxing setting, a cosmopolitan journey against the Aegean backdrop. The lighting design and the high quality materials combine high aesthetics with functionality. The public areas include the central infinity pool and the Aquaz restaurant which looks like a balcony over the Aegean Sea.
