Designed by Ntora Mastrogeorgiou, the café is shaped around transparency and flow. Expansive glass openings allow the street to visually enter, positioning the espresso bar as a sculptural core. Around it, the interior unfolds like a carefully staged scene, inviting visitors into an experience that feels both open and intimate. The design thoughtfully explores the café’s relationship with the city. From the street, the view draws you into the space; from within, the surrounding urban life becomes a constant backdrop. Circulation flows gently around the central bar, encouraging movement across the café’s subtle shifts in level and its changing dialogue with the outside. A restrained palette reveals rich material contrasts — the cool sheen of inox plays against the warmth of oak, while soft peach-toned tables introduce a quiet vibrancy. A preserved mosaic floor hints at the building’s history, grounding the space with a sense of continuity. The overall effect is minimal yet textured, calm yet characterful.
