Fashion label Aimé Leon Dore has unveiled its first West Coast flagship on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood, bringing its signature blend of fashion, hospitality and Mediterranean-inspired design to Los Angeles.

Founded by Greek-American designer Teddy Santis, the brand has long drawn inspiration from the cultural intersections of New York, the Mediterranean and Santis’ Greek heritage. The new flagship continues this narrative through architectural and artistic references that evoke the atmosphere of Southern European living. Designed in collaboration with Sarita Posada Interiors, the store takes cues from traditional Mediterranean homes, with soft stucco walls, custom timber-framed windows and natural materials creating a warm, residential feel. At its center is a cobblestone courtyard inspired by the outdoor cafés of Greece and the wider Mediterranean, anchored by an 80-year-old olive tree and surrounded by vintage seating and lush planting.

Inside, limestone surfaces, warm wood finishes and carefully curated furnishings reinforce the sense of home. In the café, a marble mosaic incorporating brass motifs by the late Greek artist Alekos Fassianos adds a distinctly Greek touch, weaving Santis’ heritage into the store’s broader Mediterranean narrative.

More than a retail destination, the Los Angeles flagship reflects Aimé Leon Dore’s ongoing exploration of identity through space, blending elements of Greek and Mediterranean everyday life with the energy of Los Angeles.
