The artworks of Kalos&Klio emerge from a delirium of digital virtual appropriation, an addictive compulsive procedure of a systematic order of actions. They call this process ‘Digital Tank Appropriation’. They embark in a time-machine journey and surf the search engines of the Net between the trivial and the precious, the obscene and the remarkable, the essential and the random, retrieving, collecting and manipulating large parts of diverse virtual elements that float and sink in the abyss of the Net screen. These are the representations of images from the whole history of humanity, from different times, and from all the corners of the world where the signifier and the signified exchange roles and create new memories.

The Matrix of Kalos&Klio is ever expanding and as it enlarges it appears to take on a consciousness of its own. Kalos&Klio’s post- psychedelic works refers to our world as a melting pot that chews everything, from architectural elements to body parts and artificial constructions. The Matrix extends..”
