Studio 4, presents the fourth action of the mural programme Open Gallery, which is curated by Andreas Fakis and Ilias Chatzichristodoulou, within the framework of Public Art Festival: Multiformity, in collaboration with Cutty Sark, in Athens, Greece.
The Open Gallery programme pursues the incorporation of public art in the urban environment, the creation of social interest, the upgrade of “the building” and therefore of the civil landscape and the preservation of new or current murals, which are irreplaceable, mainly on a practical extent. Cuty Sark –which is characterized all along, by the spirit of adventure and discovery– inspires the artist SNRS within the Open Gallery #4 context, who creates a mural, with reference to urban culture.
The implementation of the action Open Gallery #4 will begin on Tuesday, October the 28th and is open to the public, which will have the ability to contribute to the creation of the mural guided by the artist, between the hours 16.30 – 18.30. The action takes place in close proximity to the Public Art Festival: Multiformity venues, and literally, “inside” the nightlife zone of the historic Athens centre.
