Brand new to the collection this season, Ancient Greek Sandals have launched a range of Espadrilles. Espadrilles, hailing from Spain, named with typical Spanish names such as Esmerelda, Rita, Clara, Lola, Tia and Nina – a favoured summer style, they are available in a range of neutral colours such as natural, off-white, chestnut and black and feature a soft padded leather insole combined with a light covered innersole and anti-slip personalized rubber sole.

This season, Ancient Greek Sandals have experimented with a range of stitching techniques to decorate core styles such as the Melia and Desmos. Using the leather uppers as a blank canvas, the sandals are decorated with whipstitching made from a waxed thread, suede, and nappa. The stitching echoes ornate needlework used by Greek artisans’ traditional techniques found across the Greek islands.

Inspired by retro sandals from the 1960’s, this sophisticated style in a capsule of Ancient Greek Sandals classics such as the Thalia, Lito Nea, and Leoni is embellished with striking gems in rich jewel tones to off-set the natural colourway of Ancient Greek Sandals.

Following their success in the Resort collection, edited versions of the Persida and Pasifai are welcomed into the Summer collection. With a cork wedge and metallic tube detailing, these traditional flat sandals are transformed into an elevated evening sandal.

A new addition to the Ancient Greek Sandals collection with a nappa silk bow and Mary Jane style strap, these sandals are available as a flat sandal (Fani, Mimi, Loukia) or in a cork wedge. They are a girly alternative style to more traditional sandals, covering more of your toes.

Ancient Greek Sandals have further developed their flip flops this season. An easy to wear sandal, they are available in several different styles – Sani – a multistrip slide, Angel – an elegant sandal, Katerina – a thong style with back strap and Kansiz – a barely there sandal similar to the Eleftheria, a core piece in the Ancient Greek Sandals collection. All flip flops comprise of a synthetic metallic leather strappy uppers with tonal insoles.

In response to feedback from customers, looking for more feminine heel heights, Ancient Greek Sandals wanted to introduce Flatforms and Platforms to make sure that the foot remained rested whilst simultaneously adding height. Unlike typical high heeled shoes, the foot inclination is low and the foot arch is supported by padding under the leather insole. In three classic styles, Thais, Gnosi and Dinami, the platforms are covered by the Ancient Greek Sandals traditional trademark vachetta leather with an elaborated zig-zag stitch detail- ing, mirrored throughout the collection.

Styles such as the Aglaia, Iaso and Thais Rainbow are available in a selection of bright colours such as bright blues, yellows, and fuchsia along with natural colourways such as cream, brown and black all with complimenting tonal buckles.
