WE WEAR YOUNG is an idea born on the island of Santorini and from the endless nostalgia for the ever coming-and-going greek summer, the infinite Aegean Sun, the crystal clear sea, and that laid-back feeling only felt a summer afternoon on a Cycladic terrace chit-chatting with close friends.
“Greek summer is my eternal source of inspiration. The Cyclades, the marble-paved alleys, those tiny churches miraculously built on the most unlikely mountain tops, the old cobbled paths that connected the villages through the mountains, before car roads and everything Aegean. I feel so blessed to have spent my childhood summers in Santorini, my island. Memories and experiences from those days supply creativity to my whole adult life daily”, says Marita Sklavounou, owner/craftswoman of the brand.
