Daniel Egnéus was born in 1972 in Sweden. Daniel has spent 20 years in Prague, London, Berlin, Bologna, Rome, and Milano. He has now made Athens, Greece, his base. A prolific artist, he has had successful collaborations with many clients. These include Haagen-Dasz, BMW, Pepsi Cola, Playboy, O2 UK, Marie Claire, and Time Magazine. In December of 2009, he was sponsored by Audi at Art Basel Miami. Here they presented an oversized book featuring his illustrations and he spent five days on-site doing a live drawing.

Daniel Egnéus has published many books; The Voyage of Argo for Folio Society in London 2014, The Little Red Riding Hood for Harper Collins in New York 2011 and The Hot Dog-Cook Book in France. For this, he won the Prix Gourmand 2008 for “Best Illustrated Cookbook in France”. He has illustrated several books of poems by Aleksander Puskjin as well as doing solo shows in Berlin, Athens and New York.

Born in 1972 in Sweden, Daniel Egneus’ illustrations live in a lucid, vibrant dreamscape. Daniel sees everyday life and arts as one inseparable whole. he has won awards for his collaborations with BMW, Drambuie whiskey, and the pori jazz festival. he illustrated a series for the re-issue of four of Neil Gaiman's seminal works and was also sent on assignment to Havana to cover Chanel's resort collection for departures magazine. Daniel has lived internationally in Prague, London, Berlin, Bologna, Rome, and Milano. He now calls Athens his home.
