Pilgrim Maker’s Hub encourages artistic exploration and shared experiences in the heart of Athens

Located in Athens’ Hilton area, Pilgrim Maker’s Hub is an art space founded in 2021 by artist Ioli Katsarou, an Athens University of Fine Arts graduate. This vibrant hub is a welcoming space and community where art enthusiasts and creators converge to explore, innovate and grow. Katsarou’s vision for Pilgrim Maker’s Hub was born out of a desire to provide a safe haven for artists—a place where they could find both solace and inspiration. “As an artist, I saw the need to create an environment where people could share their ideas and challenges, and have the opportunity to grow through synergies and collaborations,” Katsarou explains. “We wanted to include those interested in learning different forms of art and to engage deeply with the art world.” The studio offers a dynamic range of workshops, from ceramics to weaving, papermaking and fabric dyeing. These workshops are constantly evolving, thanks to contributions from artists across Greece and beyond.
