Stamatis Laskos is a street artist and illustrator who creates surreal worlds inhabited by figures with warped bodies, bearing elongated limbs and caricaturesque faces with stretched noses and ears. Using fine detail and texture, his works range from canvas portraits to large-scale and mind-bending murals that often give the impression of looking at the subject through a distorted magnified lens. He has collaborated, amongst others, with Jordan Nike Inc. and The New Yorker magazine.
