The Hellenic Art Galleries Association, after the admittedly great success of the 19th International Contemporary Fair Art-Athina last May, organises in collaboration with the team of Art-Athina, a cultural weekend dedicated to galleries in Athens and Thessaloniki.
This event will take place on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 December 2014 and will include a detailed programme of exhibitions of each gallery in Athens and Thessaloniki. That will give the opportunity to the public to browse the two cities, discovering the most interesting artistic side of them. Furthemore, visitors will get to know through the current exhibitions presented by the galleries a condensed version of the visual landscape of the country. Participating galleries will welcome the public on Saturday from 11:00 to 18:00 and Sunday from 11:00 to 15:00. The cultural event Gallery Weekend is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Culture and Sports and the Municipalities of Athens and Thessaloniki.
