From February 9th-28th, 2016, Greek minimalist fashion brand Parthenis opens a temporary concept store in east London’s Rivington Street, bringing their minimal women’s, men’s and unisex designs over from its stomping grounds of Athens and Mykonos to London.The store will house the brand’s signature minimal and gender-bending designs, taken from their AW15/16 and SS16 collections, alongside pieces from the Parthenis archive, which spans over four decades. Basic ribs meet cotton paired with mesh and wardrobe staples are reinvented to create a clean, elevated everyday look. Visitors will experience the inspiration behind the designs and Parthenis’ unique look: a love for geometry, a refined Greek aesthetic and a forever-young attitude, which translates into timeless patterns and garments of a discerning quality. Parthenis’ collaborative spirit will be brought to life through the presence of four guest Greek brands, all part of the wider Parthenis family: Bags by Persephoni, sandals by Kyma, leather accessories by Aumorfia and sunglasses by Deep Shallow Exposition. Biannual men’s fashion magazine Dapper Dan will also be on sale. Parthenis’ temporary concept store is powered by sales & PR agency Sinister Sisters. In sync with the store, the agency will be running a pop-up AW16-17 showroom from the boutiques basement featuring all Sinister Sister brands.
